My Background

After graduating from Carleton University in Canada with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a minor in Business, I returned to Ghana to pursue my passion in events and public relations. During my time at Carleton University, I was honored as a member of the Carleton University President’s Advisory Committee and served as a programming coordinator for Ghana’s High Commission in Canada. I worked with Global Media Alliance as an event planner and business news anchor on eTV Ghana. I also started the BE BOLD talk show to encourage young Ghanaians living abroad to return home in an effort to reverse brain drain. I was the presenter of eBusiness Journal on eTV Ghana. Through my journalism, I secured a role as a lead media specialist at the World Economic Forum, where I interviewed world leaders such as Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, South African President Jacob Zuma, Gracia Machel, His Royal Crowned Prince of Norway, and the Director General of the World Trade Center.

After working in Ghana for six years, I founded INEN Limited, my public relations and events company, which markets and plans corporate events for top brands such as MANET Real Estate, Zeepay, Moneygram, Ria Money Transfer, Zenith Bank, Vlisco, Nsoroma GPS Tracking, and Christie Brown. Additionally, I launched INEN Interiors, an interior design company focused on designing homes, offices, and educational spaces.

I have a deep passion for achieving greatness and excellence in children’s education. In 2022, I was elected as the Communications Board Chair for Lincoln Community School, my alma mater, where I thrived in my role. I have currently(2024) been elected as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Lincoln Community School. I also serves as an ambassador to Explorers Schools, a Montessori and Cambridge preschool in Ghana. My passion for education led me to establish the YEN DAAKYE foundation, which renovated and improved two schools in impoverished areas of Accra: Kinbu Nursery School and the Railway Nursery of Kantamanto, catering to 300 street children between the ages of six months to seven years. My biggest dream and prayer is to end poverty in Ghana through education.
